The Lemurs and Otters have been learning to play complicated melodic patterns on the xylophone instruments and handbells.

 

The students are also learning to compose using the glockenspiels and the notes C, E, and G.

  

The students are learning to sing solos to lead the class with call and response songs like “Kye Kye Kule.”

  

From quarter and eighth note rhythms to sixteenth note patterns with rests, the students are learning to read and notate music.

  

The students are learning to sing songs while accompanying themselves with drums and puppet shows.

 

 

The Harmonizers have been playing violins, composing on the pianos, and singing songs from around the world!

The second and third grade students are playing the recorders and enjoying playing Note Naming Battleship!
